Huawei Unveils 10 Industry Solutions at MWC Barcelona 2025

Huawei has organized the Industrial Digital and Intelligent Transformation Summit 2025 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. 15th Bangladesh Physics Olympiad 2025 held at AIUB

On Friday, February 28, 2025, the National Round of the 15th Bangladesh Physics Olympiad took place at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). Following a regional round that attracted approximately 10,000 students from across the country, a total of 1,400 students were selected to compete in the National Round. A Festive Finale to SGMH Cricket Championship 2025

The SGMH Cricket Championship 2025, a grand celebration of the garment workers of Standard MH Group, one of Bangladesh's leading readymade garment exporters, concluded with a spectacular final match. Held on Friday morning at Purbachal, the match featured SHM Warriors from Shams Styling Wears Ltd. taking on the TCEWW Gladiators, a team comprising members from The Civil Engineers Oven Limited and The Civil Engineers Wash Limited. The TCEWW Gladiators emerged as the champions after defeating SHM Warriors by five wickets in the final match. Batting first, the SHM Warriors scored 136 runs for nine wickets in the allotted overs. A reason to celebrate university convocations

Ishtiaque Abedin and Dr Mohammad Zahidul Islam Khan:  Bangladesh (AIUB) was held on February 22, 2025. However, the journey to the finishing line of 2,547 AIUB graduates was not an act of providence. An intuitive but staid question that follows this festive season of convocations in Bangladesh is: What ought to be the meaningful and tangible reasons for a university to celebrate convocations, and how can we measure them? Amidst the flurry of traditional impressionistic celebratory reasons, this article highlights a few benchmarks —measured in the context of AIUB and, by extension, can be used by any other universities— celebrating convocations. BRAC University, in collaboration with BRAC and Bangladesh Sustainability Alliance (BSA), launched a “Net Zero Project and Plastic-Free Zero-Waste Campus” initiative on the university’s Merul Badda campus today (Monday, 17 February 2025). The initiative seeks to transform BRAC University into a zero-waste, plastic-free campus by implementing key interventions, including enhanced recycling programs, elimination of single-use plastics, and promotion of sustainable alternatives. Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2025 held at AIUB

The grand finale and closing ceremony of the 9th Bangladesh Qualifying Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2025 took place on 8th February at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). 89% of IT Leaders Concerned About GenAI Flaws Affecting Cyber Security, Says Sophos Survey

Sophos, a global leader of innovative security solutions for defeating cyber-attacks released a new report, “Beyond the Hype: The Businesses Reality of AI for Cyber security,” which surveyed 400 IT leaders on their use of AI in security. The survey found that, despite 65% having adopted generative artificial intelligence (GenAI capabilities) 89% of IT leaders are concerned that flaws in GenAI cyber security tools could put their organization at risk.
