Bangladesh Christian Lekhok Forum gets new committee

Amal Milton Rosario has been elected as president, and Rock Ronald Rosario has become the general secretary in the election held on Friday (November 1) in Dhaka.
“I hope those who have been elected in the election will create a stir,” said editor of the Weekly Pratibeshi, Father Augustine Rebeiro. "Let intellectual practice be the core," he said.
Newly elected president Milton Rosary said, "The members have trusted us and elected us; we will not let them down." Something good will happen, he added.
Elected General Secretary Rock Ronald Rozario said, “This is victory is a victory for all Christian writers and for all of us. I hope everyone will extend their helping hands as partners in the new journey," he said.
Meanwhile, a total of 13 members were elected to the newly formed committee.
They are President, Amal Milton Rozario (President), Pius Serao (Vice President), Helen Kapali (Vice President), Rock Ronald Rozario (Secretary), Jennyviev Rozario (Assistant Secretary), Himel Rozario (Treasurer), Justin Gomes (Publications Secretary), Shovon Paul Cruze (Organising Secretary), Shipra Gomes (Religious Affairs Secretary), Gilbert Gomes (International Relations Secretary), Mala Rebeiro (Elected Member), Bijoy Manuel D. Pares (Elected Member), Pauline Francis (Elected Member)
Bangladesh Christian Lekhok Forum is the only national forum for writers from minority Christian community in the country. It was founded by a group of progressive Christian writers in 1997.
