The Department of Media and Mass Communication (MMC) at the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) successfully organized a Training of Trainers session on Digital Security on Friday, 14 November 2025, at the permanent campus. The session was conducted by Sanjay Gathia, Programme Manager at the Asia Centre, who provided an extensive overview of urgent digital security challenges in today’s media environment. The initiative is part of the CJEN Bangladesh and Asia Centre – a civil society research institute in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Counsil of the United Nations (UN ECOSOC). BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) successfully hosted the “Shin Shin Group Presents National Textile Management Fair 2025” on 16 November 2025 at its Nishatnagar campus in Turag, Dhaka. Powered by Auko-Tex Group, co-powered by Citizens Bank, and sponsored by DYSIN and Lejin International Limited, the event organized by the BUFT Textile Engineering Management & Innovation Club (BTEMIC), brought together over 700 participants from 61 institutions, including 24 universities and 37 colleges, creating one of the nation’s largest platforms for emerging textile talent. The award ceremony took place on October 18, 2025, at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), celebrating outstanding technological innovations and visionary projects from across the country.
