BUFT Signs Tripartite MoU with SICIP & Shin Shin Group

A groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 30 December 2024 between the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT), and Shin Shin Group to advance skills development and innovation in Bangladesh’s ready-made garment (RMG) sector.
The signing ceremony, held at the SICIP office in Dhaka, was attended by Mr. Mohammed Walid Hossain, Additional Secretary & Executive Program Director of SICIP; Mr. Faruque Hassan, Chairman, BUFT Board of Trustees; Mr. Mohammad Sohel Sadat, Chairman and Managing Director, Shin Shin Group; Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, VC (Acting) & Pro VC, BUFT; Prof. Dr. Md. Alamgir Hossain, Treasurer, BUFT; and Mr. Md. Rafiquzzaman, Registrar, BUFT.
