LG names five winners of Ambassador Challenge 2026

LG Electronics Singapore Bangladesh Branch has announced five winners of the LG Ambassador Challenge 2026, recognising social-impact projects designed to improve the lives of underserved and marginalised communities across Bangladesh.
The winning projects were selected for their potential contributions to education, poverty alleviation, economic empowerment and community development, according to a press release.
Introduced in Bangladesh in 2017, the LG Ambassador Challenge provides a platform for individuals with innovative ideas to address social challenges through sustainable community development initiatives.
Through financial grants and continued support, the programme seeks to turn promising ideas into practical initiatives capable of creating lasting positive change.
The winning projects are:
Coastal Lifeline, Cox's Bazar
Led by Minhaz Uddin, the project aims to improve financial security and reduce poverty among vulnerable people living in disaster-prone coastal areas.
O-A-K-Kha School, Sirajganj
Led by Md Abdullah Rony, the initiative seeks to expand educational opportunities and improve learning outcomes for underprivileged children.
Coastal Safety/VAN Project, Satkhira
Managed by Md Habibullah Al Mamun, the project focuses on creating sustainable livelihood opportunities and strengthening economic resilience among rural coastal communities.
Empowering Sundarbans Women Through Tailoring Skills, Khulna
Led by Shuvo Kumar Gsosh, the initiative provides vocational training to women to help them achieve greater economic independence through sustainable income-generating opportunities.
Project Uday, Rajshahi
Directed by Subrina Haque, the project aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of disadvantaged families through community-based development activities.
Beyond providing financial assistance, LG Electronics Singapore Bangladesh Branch will work closely with the winning ambassadors throughout the implementation process.
The company will support project execution, monitor progress and help maximise the benefits delivered to local communities.
