Nestlé Bangladesh Hosts First Ever Gut Health Summit: Bridging Science and Nutrition for a Healthier Future

Nestlé Bangladesh committed to sharing scientific knowledge with Scientific experts and research professionals, successfully organized “The Gut Nexus”, a two-day workshop on The Science of the Gut Microbiome.

The event blended expert talks with interactive learning, creating an engaging platform for over 250 experts from numerous relevant fields to explore the latest insights on gut health. Distinguished international speakers, Prof. Dr. Shaman Rajendrajith (Sri Lanka) and Prof. Dr. Mark A. Beninga (Netherlands), delivered impactful sessions on the importance of Gut health and functional gastrointestinal disorders. Adding local expertise, Prof. Dr. Md. Iqbal Hossain (ICDDR, B) discussed the importance of gut-friendly foods in the Bangladeshi context.

Participants also explored scientific booths showcasing innovations in probiotics and symbiotics, highlighting Nestlé’s commitment to advancing nutrition science. The workshop was highly acclaimed and reinforced Nestlé Nutrition Institute’s leadership in promoting gut health education and improving well-being for generations to come.
