Bangladesh expatriate worker in Malayasia Alauddin has clinched the fifth plot in the country’s largest Eid campaign “Nagad e Jomi” launched by Nagad, a leading mobile financial service provider in Bangladesh, by sending home remittances through this MFS provider. Recently, Muhammad Solaiman, deputy chief marketing officer of Nagad Ltd., and popular TV actor Ziaul Hoque Polash flew to Malaysia and handed over the land documents to Alauddin. This was the first land handover to a migrant worker and the fifth in total under the campaign. A total of eight lucky winners participating in the campaign will receive plots as gifts. City Bank recently signed a US$30 million loan agreement with OPEC Fund for International Development (the OPEC Fund) to support international trade by providing financing to import and export companies in Bangladesh, especially in the agriculture and green energy sectors.
