Future of AI & Cyber-Security: Govt-Academia-Industry Conclave 2025 held at UIU

United International University (UIU) organized a program titled “Future of AI & Cyber-Security: Govt-Academia-Industry Conclave 2025” on 20 September 2025 (Saturday) at 10:00 AM at UIU Campus. A total of 250+ key technology professionals, distinguished experts, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders engaged in practical discussions on the evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cyber-Security in Bangladesh. New Sophos report finds AI adoption and threat complexity fuelling increase in cybersecurity burnout in Asia Pacific and Japan

Sophos, a global leader in advanced security solutions, recently unveiled the 5th edition of its report The Future of Cybersecurity in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), produced in collaboration with Tech Research Asia (now part of Omdia). The findings reveal that cybersecurity burnout remains high across the region, with 86% of organisations surveyed experiencing issues (up from 85% in 2024) – primarily driven by increased threat activity, lack of resources, and complex compliance requirements. Youth’s Voice Celebrates 10 Years of Menstrual Health Management (MHM) Initiatives

To mark the 10th anniversary of its Menstrual Health Management (MHM) program, Youth’s Voice organized an art exhibition titled “Celebrating the Many Faces of Femininity” along with a Futsal Tournament. In addition, the organization launched a videography competition named “Reel for Red” to encourage sustainable menstrual hygiene practices among women. These initiatives aimed to ensure active youth participation in menstrual health programs and raise awareness in society through this non-profit social organization based in Chattogram. The celebration began in June with a Futsal Tournament organized in partnership with Ispahani Group.
