Inspirational Seminar on Peace and Nonviolence Held at ISU

An inspiring seminar titled “Peace and Nonviolence: Inspiring Positive Change in Individuals and Society” was held at International Standard University (ISU) on Wednesday afternoon. The event aimed to promote the values of peace, empathy, and nonviolence as essential tools for building a harmonious society. New hub for technology sector in the capital: Dhaka Computer City

A modern commercial hub for the technology sector, 'Dhaka Computer City', is being developed on New Eskaton Road in the capital. This 15-storey IT complex, a joint venture of Hazari Group and City Development, has emerged as a new hub for technology business, services and innovation under one roof. AIUB Students Recognized at Bangladesh ICT and Innovation Network

A student team Tech Wing - comprising of Kiyas Mahmud, Md. Maruf Hossain Munna and Syeda Shakira Akter — from the Department of Computer Science, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), has been honored with an Award in the “Business Services” category (Student Division) at the Bangladesh ICT and Innovation Awards 2025 for their project “Hybrid Fraud Shield”. The award ceremony took place on October 18, 2025, at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), celebrating outstanding technological innovations and visionary projects from across the country. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Afroza Nahar and Ms. Nuzhat Tabassum, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, the project uses Artificial Intelligence to detect and prevent online financial fraud in real time. The Ideas Challenge 2025 Held at AIUB

On Saturday, November 1, the Ideas Challenge 2025 competition was held at the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) campus, organized by Shomoy, the Social Welfare Club of AIUB. International Standard University (ISU), Bangladesh, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with INTI International University, Malaysia, aiming to foster international academic collaboration and broaden exchange opportunities for students and faculty.
